FAMILY MATH NIGHT.
My weekly work this week was spent scouring the internet for Family Math Night activity ideas. Google and a lot of links to Pinterest and other blogs were the main sources for my research.
Eventually I stumbled upon the activity that Whitney and I are going to use for our activity for FMN.
Polygon Quilt is a game played between at least two players. They each use a different color marker and take turns filling in small triangles on a grid. If they fill four triangles together to create a specific polygon, they are awarded points. I will attach the rules and a playing grid.
Don’t have to get into the activity here, yet, but you could talk about what did you see and what were your criteria. Why settle on the one you picked?
